Launch into Leadership Scholarship

Join the Launch into Leadership cohort, an immersive leadership experience for SDSU undergraduates.

Are you ready to take your leadership journey to new heights?

The Glazer Center for Leadership & Service is now accepting applications for the 2025–2026 Launch Into Leadership cohort — a powerful group of 20 students who are deeply involved on campus and passionate about growing as changemakers.

What is Launch Into Leadership?
Launch Into Leadership is a year-long, cohort-based program designed to help you grow through meaningful involvement, hands-on experiences, and personal development. You’ll join a close-knit group of peers and engage in a variety of dynamic leadership opportunities, including:

  • Leadership retreats
  • Campus conferences
  • Service-learning projects
  • Bi-weekly training sessions
  • Public speaking and workshop facilitation
  • Mentorship from the Glazer Center team and peers

Along the way, you’ll build community, grow your confidence, and sharpen the skills that set real leaders apart.

Scholarship Opportunity
Pending available funds, Launch Into Leadership participants may receive a scholarship ranging from $1,500 to $3,000. While scholarship funding is not guaranteed, participation in the program offers valuable, resume-boosting experiences and mentorship that will launch your leadership journey at SDSU and beyond.

Key Commitments
To maintain the strength of the cohort and your individual growth, the following events are required:

  • Bi-weekly Foundational Sessions: Fridays, 10-10:50 a.m.
  • August: Launch Party Program Welcome (11 a.m.-4 p.m.)
  • October: Aztec CORE Leadership Retreat
  • March: SDSU Leadership Summit
  • Monthly workshops, semester check-ins, and more!

You’ll also take part in service-learning events, student-led workshops, and special leadership experiences throughout the year.

Launch Into Leadership is designed for SDSU undergraduates who are:

  • Involved in campus life
  • Curious about leadership development
  • Ready to commit time and energy to personal growth
  • Excited to join a high-impact student cohort
  • Eager to give back through service and mentorship
